In the case of Peggy Young v. United Parcel Service, the Court was asked to decide whether UPS had a duty to accommodate a pregnant worker by providing her with light duty work when it provided light duty work options to non-pregnant workers under other circumstances. Las Cruces City Council Votes to Increase Minimum Wage in a 4-3 Vote

Las Cruces City Council voted yesterday to increase minimum wage to $10.10 per hour by January, 2017. The Las Cruces Sun-News reports the new measure would implement a minimum wage increase in phases, with increases to $8.40 per hour in 2015, $9.20 per hour in 2016 and, ultimately, $10.10 per hour in 2017.
